Claudia Schreiner – your partner in language matters

As a qualified translator and interpreter (Karl-Franzens-University Graz) as well as an experienced project manager, I have led prolingua with the utmost drive and commitment since 2010.

With my professional experience as a project manager in translation offices in Graz and Vienna as well as my work in marketing and sales, I have a clear understanding of the overall picture and am appreciated by my clients especially for my flexibility, reliability and accuracy.

I am your direct point of contact in your dealings with prolingua.

I personally supervise the fulfilment of each assignment, starting from placement of your order right through to quality control and delivery of the translation. Thanks to the four-eye principle, you can count on excellent quality: my “meticulous attention to detail” (to quote a translator colleague) ensures that errors in transmission or understanding, “false friends” and double spaces are eliminated whenever possible.

Due to the frequently complex nature of translation projects and thanks to many recommendations from my clients and colleagues, my personal focus in recent years has shifted mainly towards project management and proofreading the finished translations.

Our approach

After you have placed an order for a translation with us, the translators prepare the text in their mother tongue. Then we enhance the wording to give your text the “final touch” it requires.

We use the four-eye principle to ensure the excellent quality of our translations.

A successful translation in the form of an effective piece of communication is in my opinion always the result of excellent teamwork – with my colleagues and sometimes also after consultation with you when it comes to certain in-house terminology or special phrases.

All translations are delivered in the original format (providing you send us an editable Word file, Excel file or ppt file).

We work with standard translation software.

We consider a number of factors when pricing your translation or language project:

• the language combination
• scope of the text for translation
• difficulty and complexity
• the timeframe

I would be happy to provide you with an offer in advance based on our general terms and conditions. To do this, simply send me the text to be translated as a Word file by e-mail, if possible.
